Ministries

Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, His disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Family Bible Church Kingman is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. FBC members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as preparing the church bulletins to long-term mission trips. (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20)

Mission Outreach
FBC Kingman is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. FBC Kingman supports over twenty missionaries, starting in our Jerusalem in Kingman, Judea and Samaria: the United States, and into the uttermost parts of the world: Africa, the Philippines, New Guinea, Russia, Thailand as well as numerous short-term local and world wide mission trips.   We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

WORSHIP & Music
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists.  These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Family Bible Church Kingman, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Ushers & Greeters
The usher team at Family Bible Church Kingman fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men whose ministry is integral to church life.

Media, Sound & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of Family Bible Church Kingman. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio format. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication as well as publishing a weekly e-newsletter.

Marriage Counseling
Marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage. Several couples at Family Bible Church Kingman serve other families as marriage counselors. Their role in listening, understanding, helping, and encouraging struggling couples has, by God’s grace, saved marriages, and repaired relationships. Couples have found fresh hope and new joy in a warm and fulfilling relationship with their spouse.

Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. “Prayer IS the work!” Prayer moves the hand of God. Family Bible Church Kingman is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers to our Prayer Warriors team pray for their pastors, church members, areas of ministry local and around the world, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.

Children’s Ministries
FBC Kingman believes that the best resource for training up children is their parents. We hope to be encouragers and equippers of parental authority and responsibility to the family. We never want to usurp the place Dad and Mom have in the home. We desire to come alongside the God given parental authority in order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, Family Bible Church Kingman provides a children’s ministry in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids ages K-3rd grade more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons.

Nursery
Designed for children age newborn to four years, our Nursery volunteers are committed to providing quality child care in a safe and loving environment so that young parents can worship and hear the Word of God, secure in the knowledge that their infants and toddlers are well cared for.  From rocking chairs to age appropriate Bible lessons, our Nursery workers tailor their curriculum to the age and need of the child.
