The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Power of God for salvation. It is not just a salvation message it is also Consecration and Sanctification as we grow into maturity it is an impossibility apart from the Good News of Christ Himself: the Hope of Glory. Him we preach, warning every man, teaching every man in all wisdom that we might present every man perfect (spiritually mature) in Christ Jesus. To this end we labor striving according to His working which works in us mightily. Colossians 1:28,29

NT1-4 #70 The Sermon on the Mount – Part 27: JUDGING: “Specks and Beams” Part Two (Quenching a Critical Spirit) Matthew 7:1-6

In Part Two of “Specks and Beams” (Quenching a Critical Spirit) Matthew 7:1-6 Pastor Pete completes this section of Scripture by distinguishing between holding others and ourselves accountable to the truths of Scripture but doing so in a manner that respects the offender and the offended. The most offended person is God Himself. It is He, and He alone we seek to please and honor. The power of the gospel: Bring it Home as you listen for LIFE!

Rediscovering Biblical Womanhood

On this Mother’s Day 2022 we look at the situation not only in our own homes and marriages but within the borders of our City, County, State, nation, and World. The situation is dire and looks hopeless. One of the most dangerous tools, used by the enemy Satan, is the Women’s Liberation Movement, also known as ‘feminism.’ On the surface, it looks benign and needful, underneath it is chiseling away at the

Worry is a Sin. It is sin because we are told to have faith in God and to trust in Him for our every need. Matthew 6:19-34 in Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount speaks to this common issue in the believer’s life. We must look to God for our daily bread. Easter 2022: “Faith Works!” (The KING and His Kingdom: A Passport to Heaven) I Corinthians 15:1-28; James 2:14-20

Who do you say Jesus is? Liar, Lunatic or LORD? If He is Lord, is it unreasonable for each of us as subjects of His eternal kingdom to give Him our all, our allegiance, our complete and total consecration? Unfortunately, many “believers” know Jesus as Savior but not as LORD. This is Who He is. He can be no less than who He is. Our making Him Lord does not keep Him from being who He is: LORD of Heaven and Earth. Pastor Pete will share from I Corinthians 15:1-28 and James 2:14-20. NT1-4, #62 The Sermon on the Mount: Part 20 PRAYER: Part One – “How’s Your Prayer Life?” Matthew 6:5-8

Most evangelical, Bible-believing Christians would, without hesitation, say they believe in prayer and yet, so few of us make it a habit, a practice, a disciplined commitment. The least attended meeting of the church is the prayer meeting. Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” We’ve made it into a house of teaching, preaching, worship, fellowship, communion. All very good things and essential for Christian health and growth. Unfortunately, the power source that is almost universally rejected is prayer. Sunday’s message is on Jesus teaching on prayer, Matthew 6:5-15. In this first installment, we look at verses 5-8. The Power of the Gospel: Bring it Home as You Listen for LIFE!
