The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Power of God for salvation. It is not just a salvation message it is also Consecration and Sanctification as we grow into maturity it is an impossibility apart from the Good News of Christ Himself: the Hope of Glory. Him we preach, warning every man, teaching every man in all wisdom that we might present every man perfect (spiritually mature) in Christ Jesus. To this end we labor striving according to His working which works in us mightily. Colossians 1:28,29

NT1-4, #79 “Exposing the Truth of Men’s Hearts” Matthew 12 33-37

Today’s message from Matthew 12:33-37 is sobering and potentially condemning. Our words matter. Every word that comes from our mouths we will one day have to give an account for. “Exposing the Truth of Men’s Hearts” The Power of the Gospel: Bring it Home as You Listen for LIFE!

NT1-4, #78 “The Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit” (What is the Unpardonable Sin?) Matthew 12:22-37, 43-45; Mark 3:22-30; Luke 11:14-28

Have you ever wondered if you have committed the unpardonable sin? In today’s message, from Matthew 12:22-37,43-45; Mark 3:22-30; Luke 11:14-28 Pastor Pete unpacks the encounter Jesus had with the Pharisees and religious rulers who indeed had blasphemed the Holy Spirit. NT1-4, #73 The Sermon on the Mount: Part 30 – “Father’s, Show Me the Father!” (The Narrow Gate: Which Way to Heaven?) Matthew 7:13,14

“Father’s, Show Me the Father?” What would you say is the most important job of a Father? On Father’s Day 2022 we look to Matthew 7:13,14 to discover it is to lead our families to the Lord and to become true and mature disciples of Jesus Christ. Anything else is secondary in importance to that. There are two gates, two ways, two destinations, and two groups every person on earth will follow. As fathers which direction are we going and which direction are we leading our beloved families? The Power of the Gospel: Bring it Home as You Listen for LIFE!

NT1-4, #71 The Sermon on the Mount: Part 29 “Ask, Seek, Knock” (Three Reasons to Love Others) Matthew 7:7-1; Luke 11:9-13

Ask, Seek, Knock: Two Parts, the second part – We have not because we ask not, and when we do ask of God we ask with the wrong heart motives. God is anxious to give to His children what they need and sometimes even what they want, if they would simply ask – God would answer, if they would seek God, He would be found, and if they would diligently, faithfully, consistently knock, God would see to it the door would be opened. How tragic when God’s people go through their lives as paupers when if they would have asked, God would have given them the desires of their hearts. May this be the case with us. NT1-4 #70 The Sermon on the Mount – Part 27: JUDGING: “Specks and Beams” Part Two (Quenching a Critical Spirit) Matthew 7:1-6

In Part Two of “Specks and Beams” (Quenching a Critical Spirit) Matthew 7:1-6 Pastor Pete completes this section of Scripture by distinguishing between holding others and ourselves accountable to the truths of Scripture but doing so in a manner that respects the offender and the offended. The most offended person is God Himself. It is He, and He alone we seek to please and honor. The power of the gospel: Bring it Home as you listen for LIFE!

Rediscovering Biblical Womanhood

On this Mother’s Day 2022 we look at the situation not only in our own homes and marriages but within the borders of our City, County, State, nation, and World. The situation is dire and looks hopeless. One of the most dangerous tools, used by the enemy Satan, is the Women’s Liberation Movement, also known as ‘feminism.’ On the surface, it looks benign and needful, underneath it is chiseling away at the
