In this chapter we begin with Paul’s presentation of why Israel has rejected the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. We begin with a peek into Paul’s heart for the Jewish people and a description of Israel’s ignorance in their zeal for God but not according to knowledge. This is the pattern of orthopraxy found within the Christian church today. Unbelieving Jews and Gentiles alike reject the provision of Christ and the essential importance of faith in the gospel of Christ.
