The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Power of God for salvation. It is not just a salvation message it is also Consecration and Sanctification as we grow into maturity it is an impossibility apart from the Good News of Christ Himself: the Hope of Glory. Him we preach, warning every man, teaching every man in all wisdom that we might present every man perfect (spiritually mature) in Christ Jesus. To this end we labor striving according to His working which works in us mightily. Colossians 1:28,29

“The Spirit of Adoption!”

This week’s sermon (Romans 8:12-17) is on one of the most neglected and yet most fundamental topics in all of the Scripture: The person and Work of the Holy Spirit. Many believers today are woefully ignorant of this third Person of the Trinity. The Apostle Paul introduces us to Him in Romans chapter 8: The entire chapter speaks to the Holy Spirit’s deliverance, adoption, redemption and regeneration. He is our Helper in intercession, our Savior in so great salvation and the One who empowers us to complete our destiny through His empowerment and guidance. This message will speak to our new family as adopted sons and daughters. Bring it Home as you Listen for LIFE!

“The Mighty Works of God” Part Two

Last message we only got through verse six of Psalm 19: In this Psalm of David we are introduced to God as Creator in His World and this week we are introduced to God as Redeemer in His Word. No one can come to faith with the revelation of creation and the Creator alone, we need to hear and respond in faith to the gospel of Jesus Christ through His eternal Word. In Psalm 19:8-14 the Psalmist unpacks the glory of the Word of God and of its many benefits to the reader and believer. We would do well to heed these great truths and bring it home to our lives as we Listen for LIFE!

“The Mighty Works of God”

The Mighty Works of God in Creation and Revelation
Psalm 19:1-14

This Week Pastor Pete will introduce you to a fundamental study in the doctrines of creation, and revelation. These two misunderstood doctrines are the very foundations of our faith and understanding of God and how things are supposed to work. If we get these two doctrines out of their proper Biblical and God centered alignment the fallout will have incalcula

“King David’s Thanksgiving Song”

Approaching the American holiday of Thanksgiving gives each of us cause to consider what we are thankful for and how we choose to give thanks. Of course, Thanksgiving is not just the fourth Thursday of each November, most of us understand thanksgiving is a daily exercise of our conscious will in spite of the trouble that comes to us with each new day. A thankful heart speaks to a strong theo

“At His Feet”

Have you sat at the foot of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to just drink in all He has for you? Have you realized the depth of your sin and the depth of His love and grace for you? This woman (a sinner) sets an example for us to follow in her love for our Lord Jesus Christ. But what is more remarkable is the love He has extended to all of us who once bore the same title as she, a sinner. Oh how the Lord takes our old lives and makes them new. The cross of Jesus Christ were He paid for all of the sins of our former lives as well as the sins of the whole world.

Fervent Prayers of a Soul Survivor

Have you ever felt as if God either was not listening to your prayers or that He, for whatever reason couldn’t hear them? King David felt this way. Its almost as if he turned up the volume in his Psalms to cause God to pay attention to what was essential and of the utmost importance to David. The outline for Psalm 17:1-15 in this message is: 1.) Hear Me. 2.) See Me. 3.) Test Me. 4.) Show Me. 5.) Keep Me. 6.) Deliver Me and lastly, 7.) Satisfy Me. Prayer can be hard work if we have no intimacy and personal friendship and relationship with Almighty God. When we pray in agreement with God somehow God partners with us and then providentially unleashes the angelic hosts of heaven to do His bidding. Bring it Home as you Listen for LIFE!

“There is Therefore Now NO CONDEMNATION”

Freedom and Liberty from Bondage to Sin and Death
Romans 8:1-11

You may not realize it but the whole of your life, now that you are a born again believer, assuming that indeed you are, is wrapped up in the focus of glorifying the God who saved us from sin and death. It is an egregious contradiction in terms when professing believers either have no desire for spiritual victory over their sin or are ignorant that they have already been gr
