Easter 2022: “Faith Works!” (The KING and His Kingdom: A Passport to Heaven) I Corinthians 15:1-28; James 2:14-20

Who do you say Jesus is? Liar, Lunatic or LORD? If He is Lord, is it unreasonable for each of us as subjects of His eternal kingdom to give Him our all, our allegiance, our complete and total consecration? Unfortunately, many “believers” know Jesus as Savior but not as LORD. This is Who He is. […]

Easter – Resurrection Sunday 2019: (Seven Proofs for the Resurrected Jesus) Selected Scriptures

Monday, April 15th was Tax Day in America but it will also be known as the day Notre Dame was burned by fire. From the ashes of this architectural wonder will rise a new cathedral. “April Fool’s” – (Fools and those who follow them) Selected Scriptures

On this Easter / Resurrection Sunday 2018 this Holy Day falls on an unlikely day of the year, April Fool’s Day. Living the Resurrected Christian Life

This year FBC celebrated Easter with a theme and exhortation to live the resurrected Christian life. The program was divided into four parts with each part giving a Scripture reading, music and a short exhortation. The Seven words of encouragement in the challenge to live the resurrected Christian life came with an exhortation: for Goodness Sake, for Christ's Sake, for God's Sake, for Pete's Sake, for Mercy's Sake, for Pity's Sake and lastly, for Heaven's Sake. Let's Bring it Home as we Listen for LIFE!

What’s So Good About Good Friday?

The Kingman Evangelical Ministerial Association Annual Good Friday Service had ten local churches and Pastor's represented at the host church: Family Bible Church. The program was only one hour in length with Scripture readings, Hymns and Praise music, Special music and four dramatic readings given by four local Pastors: the Cry of Forgiveness: the Apostle Peter, the Cry of Relief: Simon of Cyrene, the Cry of Confession: the Thief on the Cross and the Cry of Lordship: the Centurion. Our Father God smiles when He sees the Church of Kingman come together crossing congregational lines, borders and boundaries all for His glory and for the furtherance of His powerful Gospel. Bring it Home as you Listen for LIFE

Easter – In Christ Alone

The Rolling Stones coined the phrase: "I can't get no satisfaction. And I try, and I try, and I try, and I try." What is the heart of Biblical, Historical Christianity? In this Easter / Resurrection message Pastor Pete will bring great comfort from the book of Romans via the great hymn of the faith: In Christ Alone. In these four stanzas we have the entirety of the gospel celebrated and expressed. The church should sing in jubilant triumph and song. “Christ has risen, He has risen indeed!” Romans gives us the answer to where we are to find truth and our ultimate satisfaction: In Christ Alone. In the Scriptures Alone. In Grace Alone. In Faith Alone. In God's Glory Alone. 1. Condemnation. Romans 1:1-3:20; 2. Justification. Romans 3:21-5:2; 3. Sanctification. Romans 6:1-8:39; 4. Vindication. Romans 9:1-11:36; and, 5. Application. Romans 12:1-16:27. Listen for LIFE!
