In the Shepherd’s Psalm, Psalm 23: we see the work of the Chief Shepherd of the sheep in our lives. The Good Shepherd is satisfying, enough and salvation. For without the protective gaze of the Great Shepherd of the sheep none of us would be alive much less thriving. The Gospel of Restoration moves us from the state of fear and confusion into pastures of peace and contentment. When planning for a six month family vacation no one would seriously consider just leaving to an unknown destination without any planning or consideration for the cost or logistics. And yet, most if not a greater portion of all of humanity live their lives with no planning or consideration for the cost of their decisions. The Sufficiency of Scripture
Believing that the Bible is the true Word of God is not enough, we also need to believe it is sufficient for all. The Word tells us how God wants to be worshiped.
