Psalm 33: is a Psalm of rejoicing. In a world that desperately needs Good News and a reason to be joyful, this psalm gives hope and a reason for rejoicing. The writer of this psalm is unknown but his outline gives three exhortations: 1.) A Call to Rejoice, verses 1-3; 2.) A Cause to Rejoice, verses 4-19, and lastly, 3.) In this third lesson on the Doctrine of Sin, we will continue our discussion on the Covenants of Scripture and how they each deal with the problem of sin. We will look at the difference between a dispensational approach to Bible interpretation and the Covenant theology approach to Biblical interpretation. We will examine a chart explaining the definition of sin. We will then examine the causes for the Fall of Man and the imputation of the Sin Nature on the Human Race. We will use the Westminster Greater Catechism as our reference tool.
